Description

Slaughterhouse wastes and dead animals are used to prepare bone meal. Often the sketetal system (bones) is separated from meat during the processing of meat. These bones can then be converted into bone meal using several different methods.

Bone meal has a high ash content compared to meat and bone meal.  Typically used to obtain the phosphorus content which is above 4% up to 7% P.
